Within the community we have eleven fire departments. Each fire department has a first responder program. This program allows us to get medical assistance to those in need quicker. Fire departments have First Responders, EMT's, EMT-I's, and Paramedics on their roster. These members are trained to provide medical aide until an ambulance can get there.
