Within the community we have eleven fire departments. Each fire department has a first responder program. This program allows us to get medical assistance to those in need quicker. Fire departments have First Responders, EMT's, EMT-I's, and Paramedics on their roster. These members are trained to provide medical aide until an ambulance can get there. The group photos are of the first responders of the year and the firefighters of the year from the 2007-2008 fiscal year.
